“The Real History of Starved Rock,” Stories from a Native’s Perspective

Starved Rock Connections and Kishauwau’s Starved Rock Area Cabins present, “The Real History of Starved Rock,” featuring Ho-Chunk Nation Chief Gerald Savage, a/k/a White Winnebago and the voice of the area’s Native American heritage. Gerald shares his perspective of misconceptions, traditions, and more. Reservations are required. Reserve now – pay day of event – $40 (cash only). Coffee and water provided. Meet in either location to board for our trip to a cozy cabin at Kish: Departing at 6pm from the free public lot at 814 Columbus St., Ottawa, or 6:30 from the lot at the corner of Mill and Church streets in Utica. Presentation starts at 7:00 p.m.
